FM Nirmala Sitharaman meets US Treasury Secretary Bessent
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent met Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on the sidelines of the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meeting in Asheville, North Carolina, on September 1, the US Embassy India said in a post on X.

The meeting comes as Indian companies continue to expand their presence in the US. According to the post, Indian firms have invested $40 billion in the US and support more than 70,000 direct American jobs.
