Indian Embassy in Qatar asks stranded tourists to register details after flight cancellations

The Embassy of India Doha has issued an advisory for Indian nationals stranded in Qatar following recent flight cancellations, urging them to submit their details through an online form to help authorities assess the situation.

In a notice shared by the embassy and the India in Qatar, officials said the advisory applies to Indian tourists and short-term visitors holding a Hayya A1 visa whose flights out of Qatar were cancelled between February 28 and March 7, 2026.

Officials said the form will help the mission ascertain “the exact number and details of stranded Indian nationals who are not residents of Qatar.”


The notice specifically targets Indian nationals visiting Qatar as tourists or short-term visitors whose travel plans were disrupted due to cancelled outbound flights during the stated period.

Such disruptions have been reported across parts of the Gulf region due to broader regional aviation disturbances in recent days.
