The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has cautioned travellers after reporting a rise in fraudulent websites posing as official Indian e-visa portals. The advisory said several platforms are misleading applicants and, in some cases, collecting money and personal information without authorisation.

According to the official announcement, third-party operators are running deceptive services that resemble official visa pages. The Embassy stated that applicants should verify any online visa service before submitting documents or payments.

It listed the fake websites identified so far: indianimmigration.org, idiasevisa.org, evisaentry.com, india-immi.org, ivisa.com, india-evisa.it.com.

In a statement, the Embassy said the only legitimate website for e-Visa applications is www.indianvisaonline.gov.in.
It urged travellers to avoid all other platforms to prevent fraud, financial loss, or the misuse of sensitive personal data.

The Embassy also reminded applicants to stay alert when accessing visa-related services and to rely solely on the official government portal for all submissions.
