Indian consular posts in Canada have resumed accepting Employment Visa applications from Canadian nationals, subject to a pre-approval process

Biometric enrolment now mandatory
Fragomen said biometric enrolment is mandatory for Employment Visa applicants. As a result, the earlier option to submit applications by post is no longer available. Also Read: UK announces major immigration rule changes from October 2026
