An Indian national has passed away in Riyadh following recent events on March 18, the Embassy of India in Saudi Arabia said in an official statement. The mission confirmed it is in contact with the family of the deceased and local authorities, and is extending assistance.

The Embassy expressed condolences over the death and said it is closely coordinating with authorities in Saudi Arabia regarding the matter. “The Embassy of India expresses its deepest condolences on the tragic demise of an Indian national in Riyadh due to recent events on March 18th,” it said.



The mission added that officials are engaging with the family to provide necessary support. “The Embassy is in touch with the family and local authorities. We remain committed to extending all possible assistance in this matter,” the statement said.

The development comes amid ongoing concerns involving Indian nationals in the region, with the Embassy continuing to monitor the situation and provide consular support where required.
