In a travel advisory shared on X, IndiGo said it is making efforts to maintain its schedules but operational adjustments may be required if conditions change, including delays or cancellations.
“While every effort is being made to maintain schedules, adjustments, including possible cancellations, may be required if conditions evolve,” the airline said.
IndiGo advised passengers to regularly check their flight status and allow extra time to reach airports, noting that road delays may also occur due to the weather.
“Please keep a tab on your flight status,” the airline said.
Unstable UAE weather
Meteorological reports show that the UAE is experiencing unstable weather with scattered rain, lightning, hail and gusty winds as a low-pressure system moves across the country. Heavy rainfall and thunderstorms have already hit parts of Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and other emirates, with gusty winds reducing visibility and rough seas along the coast, Gulf News reported. The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts rainfall of varying intensity and strong winds through Thursday and into the weekend, which may affect road travel and airport access. The Economic Times Business News App for the Latest News in Business, Sensex, Stock Market Updates & More.
