India’s largest carrier IndiGo has announced full flexibility and waiver benefits for passengers travelling to and from the Middle East, as it extended the suspension of select international flights operating through affected airspace.

Free reschedule or full refund option

In a travel advisory, the airline said customers booked on or before February 28, 2026, for travel till March 7, 2026, will be eligible for free rescheduling or a full refund.

The waiver also applies to certain other impacted international sectors, the airline said, without specifying routes.

Passengers can reschedule their travel at no additional cost or opt for a complete refund through the airline’s official website.

Flight suspension extended

IndiGo extended the temporary suspension of select international flights operating through parts of Middle Eastern airspace, citing safety concerns amid evolving regional developments.

In a travel advisory posted on X, the airline said it had “meticulously evaluated the evolving regional developments and their potential impact on flight operations” before taking what it described as the “most responsible” course of action in the interest of safety.

Some international services may be impacted

IndiGo said, as part of its precautionary approach, the suspension of select international services operating through affected airspace has been extended. It added that certain other international flights may also be impacted as operations are aligned with changing conditions.

Passengers have been advised to check their flight status on the airline’s website for the latest updates.

The airline said customers whose bookings are impacted will receive timely notifications on their registered contact details. “Our teams will connect with you directly to provide assistance and guide you through the available options,” the advisory stated.
