Five Indians injured as missile interception debris sparks fires in Abu Dhabi industrial zone
Fires erupted in Abu Dhabi's industrial zone early Saturday. Debris from intercepted missiles and drones caused the blaze. Five Indian nationals sustained injuries. Authorities confirmed the successful interception of a ballistic missile.

In a statement, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said two fires were reported in the vicinity of Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), an industrial and free zone hub operated by AD Ports Group.
Authorities said the fires were caused by falling debris following the “successful interception” of a ballistic missile.
The injured — all Indian nationals — sustained wounds ranging from minor to moderate, the statement added.
Officials said emergency services were responding to the fires and the situation was under control. The public has been advised to rely only on official sources for updates and avoid circulating unverified information.
