Dubai Airports warned that weather conditions could affect operations at both Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport. It urged passengers to allow additional travel time and confirm flight schedules directly with airlines.
Emirates, Air Arabia flag possible delays
In a travel update, Emirates said Dubai is expecting adverse weather during this period and asked passengers flying out of Dubai International Airport to check their flight status before heading to the airport. The airline advised travellers to arrive at least two hours before departure and ensure their contact details are updated to receive notifications.
Air Arabia said adverse weather is forecast across the UAE over the coming days, which may impact its operations at Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah airports.
The airline advised passengers to check flight status before leaving for the airport and avoid travelling unless they have a confirmed booking. It also asked travellers to keep their contact details updated through its booking system.
Airlines said safety remains a priority as weather conditions continue to evolve, with passengers advised to monitor updates before travel.
