"Dubai Civil Aviation Authority announces the gradual resumption of some flights to and from Dubai International Airport to selected destinations, following the temporary suspension implemented as a precautionary measure," Dubai Media Office said on Monday, adding that passengers are advised to check with their airlines for the latest updates regarding their flights.
The aviation authority had suspended operations at the DXB airport following a drone attack on fuel tanks in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport.

Dubai International Airport (DXB) witnessed a blaze of fure after a drone attacked one of the fuel tanks in the vicinity.
"A drone incident in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport (DXB) affected one of the fuel tanks," Dubai media office said in a post on X. The authority later confirming that the civil defence teams have brought the fire under control and no injuries reported on spot.
"Dubai Civil Defence teams have successfully contained the fire resulting from impact to one of the fuel tanks in the vicinity of Dubai International Airport. No injuries have been reported," it said.
Following the incident, Emirates suspended all flights to and from Dubai until further notice. "We are working closely with the relevant authorities to assess the situation and support the safe resumption of operations when possible," the carrier said.
March 11 drone incident
Dubai International Airport briefly halted flight operations on March 11 after two drones fell near the premises, injuring four citizens, including one Indian national.Emirates aircraft coming into Dubai were in a holding pattern as they awaited permission to land, Bloomberg reported, citing Flightradar24. Takeoffs were also briefly paused, the flight tracking service showed.
In an official statement, Dubai Media Office said that the air traffic at the world's busiest international airport is operating as normal.

Dubai Airport open: DXB resumed partial ops from March 7
Dubai Airport partially resumed operations on March 7, with some flights operating out of DXB and DWC. It advised passengers to refrain from travelling to the airport unless they receive flight confirmation communication from the airline.“We have partially resumed operations from today, 7 March, with some flights operating out of DXB and DWC. Please do not travel to the airport unless you have been contacted by your airline that your flight is confirmed, as schedules continue to change,” the airport operator said.
Dubai Authorities confirmed that a minor incident involving falling debris, following an interception, was successfully contained, dismissing social media claims on disruption or incident at Dubai International Airport.
DXB suspended flight operations earlier

"Due to the ongoing geopolitical unrest in the Middle East, KLM has decided to cancel all flights to Dubai through March 28th", KLM airline said, adding that it remained available to repatriate stranded travellers, a process handled through the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
