Munich Airport announced that flight operations will resume gradually from 7 a.m. on October 4 after several drone sightings near its airspace led to delays earlier in the day.

The airport operator said in a notice on its website "Flight operations will resume gradually starting at 7 a.m. on October 4, 2025," the statement read.

The disruption came after multiple drones were reported close to the airport’s airspace. Authorities temporarily halted operations.

The airport, one of Germany’s busiest, has urged travellers to check with airlines for the latest updates on flight schedules.
