What Indian applicants need to know
For Indian applicants, the announcement does not currently mean a change in Express Entry eligibility or the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).IRCC has not announced a new CRS, new eligibility requirements or a decision to replace the existing Express Entry system as part of the technology overhaul. There is also no specific launch date for the new EOI system.
Applicants should therefore continue to follow the existing Express Entry rules unless IRCC announces further changes.
