Andhra Pradesh NRI Empowerment and Relations Minister Kondapalli Srinivas said the state government reached out to 100 non-resident Indians from the state who are stuck in war-ravaged Iran.

"The Government of Andhra Pradesh has swiftly reached out to over 100 NRIs in Iran and is continuously monitoring the evolving situation," said Srinivas in a post on X late on Tuesday.

He said a 24x7 control room is actively assessing developments and taking all necessary precautions.

All necessary precautionary and support measures are being taken in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, he said.

Further, he appealed to NRIs to stay updated through official Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) channels.
