The airline said it will operate flights connecting Jeddah with Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi and Kozhikode based on the current safety assessment. The operation of these services will continue to depend on the evolving situation and may change after further reviews.
Some Middle East routes remain suspended
Flights to and from Abu Dhabi and Riyadh will remain suspended until March 11, 2026. Services from Doha and Kuwait will stay suspended until March 15, 2026, according to the airline’s travel update issued on March 9 at 15:30 IST.The airline said it is monitoring the situation and will adjust operations depending on safety conditions in the region.
Waiver on cancellation and rescheduling
Akasa Air has extended its waiver on cancellation and rescheduling charges for passengers booked to or from the affected cities until March 31, 2026. Travellers can opt for a full refund to the original payment source within seven days or reschedule their travel without paying additional charges.Passengers who booked through travel partners have been advised to contact those partners directly for assistance.
The airline also asked passengers to check their flight status before leaving for the airport. “The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority. We thank you for your patience and appreciate your understanding during this time,” the airline said.
