Often described as a Chinese built 'white elephant', Sri Lanka opens 350-metre tall Lotus Tower to public on September 15.

The tower, constructed at a cost of $113 million, is loacted in central Colombo.

A 200 rupee ticket would allow 20 minutes of sight seeing on the observation deck on the 29th floor.
