Strong start for Feb series: Sensex, Nifty end higher
Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, rallied for afourth straight day ahead of the Union Budget on February 1. The BSE Sensex closed 174.32 points, or 0.63 per cent, up at 27,882.46, while the 50-share Nifty index settled 38.50 points up at 8,641.25.
