Sensex, Nifty50 end flat after choppy trade
The domestic equity market closed in the negative territory for the second day in a row after heavy selling was witnessed on the pharma and banking counters. The Nifty Pharma index closed a little over 2 per cent lower on worries of regulatory action against specific companies by the US Food and Drug Administration.
