Sensex, Nifty end flat ahead of assembly elections results
The domestic equity market settled on a flat note with marginal gains after exit polls showed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ruling party ahead of rivals in state elections in Uttar Pradesh. The BSE Sensex closed 17.10 points up at 28,946.23, while the Nifty 50 index settled 7.55 points up at 8934.55.
