Sensex ends 40 points higher after 300-pt swing
Benchmark equity indices BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty settled on a flat note following mixed global cues amid selling in banking, metal and capital goods stocks. The 30-share BSE Sensex closed 39.78 points higher at 28,329, while the Nifty50 settled 9.35 up at 8,778.
