Sensex breaches 31,000 mark, Nifty nears 9,600
The BSE Sensex breached the 31,000 mark while Nifty surged past the 9550-mark for the first time and at the moment is closing in the 9,600-mark. The rally came on the back of auto and banking stocks. Sustained foreign capital inflows also contributed resulting in the surge.
