Padsalgikar takes over as Mumbai police commissioner
DD Padsalgirkar, a 1982 batch IPS officer, took charge as city police commissioner. Padsalgikar, 57, said that the citizens and police must work hand in hand for a better law and order. He added that the parents and teachers too should play an active role in preventing youths from joining any terror outfit.
