Lucknow coaching centre fire claims students' lives; Dy CM breaks down, PM announces ₹2L ex-gratia
A devastating fire at a coaching centre building in Lucknow's Aliganj area has claimed the lives of at least 12 students. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak became emotional at the scene, saying he had personally seen 14 bodies during rescue operations. The blaze triggered a massive emergency response involving fire services, NDRF and SDRF teams. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed grief and announced ex-gratia assistance for the victims and injured.
