'Illegal aliens have no sanctuary': Mullin blasts Hochul over reported rejection of 16K ICE orders
A New York Post exclusive report states that New York blew off 16,000 Trump administration ICE orders to detain illegal migrants accused or convicted in more than 50,000 criminal charges. The Department of Homeland Security disclosed to The NY Post that municipalities across the Dem-driven state have refused to comply with its detainment requests 16,070 times since President Trump re-entered. DHS’s recent data regarding rejection of ICE detainers to The New York Post comes amid a recent ICE shooting in New York that wounded a 28-year-old man. The incident garnered a sharp reaction from the NYC mayor, who demanded that ICE be entirely removed from New York State. Blasting NY Governor Kathy Hochul, DHS chief Markwayne Mullin said that Hochul’s sanctuary policies have been a disaster for New York and the rest of the country.
