‘I’ll hold as many hearings as I want…': Jordan shuts down Rep. Jayapal on sanctuary city policies
Chairman of the United States House Committee on the Judiciary, Jim Jordan, strongly criticised Rep. Pramila Jayapal over her remarks against repeated sanctuary city hearings. Jordan defended the hearings, arguing they are necessary to examine immigration enforcement policies and claiming that sanctuary city measures may put public safety at risk.
