Free expression at universities under threat: Manmohan Singh
Former prime minister Manmohan Singh, while delivering a speech at Presidency University in Kolkata, said independent thinking and free expression at Indian universities are under threat. He added that the recent attempts to interfere with free expression of student community at the Hyderabad Central University and Jawaharlal Nehru University are of particular concern.
