FBI Operation New Dawn: 305 arrested, 24 missing children rescued in massive Chicago crime crackdown
The FBI's Operation New Dawn has become one of the largest coordinated federal law enforcement operations in the Chicago area in recent years. According to federal officials, the 60-day operation led to the arrest of 305 suspects involved in violent crime, drug trafficking, gang activity, child exploitation, weapons offenses, robbery, kidnapping, and immigration-related violations.
