Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge over Brahmaputra set to boost Assam-Meghalaya connectivity via NH-127B

India is building the 19.3-km Dhubri–Phulbari Bridge over the Brahmaputra River, which will connect Assam and Meghalaya with an all-weather road link, according to the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL). Officials say the bridge will improve regional connectivity, support freight movement and strengthen transport links across the Northeast once completed.
