Assam gets new PNG, CNG infrastructure; ‘Reduce LPG imports’, says Himanta Sarma
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma virtually inaugurated a series of PNG and CNG projects in Mangaldai and Tezpur, expanding cleaner fuel access for households, businesses and industries across the region. "Wider PNG adoption can reduce dependence on LPG imports," Sarma said, as the state expanded gas connectivity and strengthened clean energy infrastructure.
