Ashwini Vaishnaw & Odisha CM Majhi launch new Puri to Koraput Express for daytime travel

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw flag off the new Puri–Koraput Express, a tri-weekly service aimed at improving daytime rail connectivity between coastal, western and southern Odisha. Addressing the event, Vaishnaw says a new train connecting north Odisha with Puri will be introduced soon, while the Railway Ministry says the new service addresses a long-standing demand for daytime connectivity on the route.
