America's 250th anniversary celebration: US Air Force Thunderbirds perform flyover in Las Vegas

The US Air Force's air demonstration team, the Thunderbirds, performed a flyover in Las Vegas on Saturday (June 27) as part of the U.S.'s 250th anniversary celebrations throughout the country. The Thunderbirds were seen flying over iconic Nevada locations such as Las Vegas Ballpark, Red Rock Canyon and the Hoover Dam. The Thunderbirds have been part of the Air Force since 1953. The team travels all over the world to showcase the pilots' flying skills and capabilities of the F-16 Fighting Falcon.
