Amarnath Yatra 2026 begins July 3: LG Manoj Sinha flags off first batch from Jammu
Authorities completed final security and logistical preparations ahead of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2026, as CRPF personnel with K9 units sanitized parts of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway and thousands of pilgrims gathered at the Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu. Officials said Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will flag off the first batch on July 3, while police said all security arrangements have been reviewed and coordinated for the pilgrimage.
