AK-47 used during Siwan protest? Bihar cop suspended; Tejashwi shares video, demands probe

A Bihar police constable has been suspended after a purported video showing him holding and allegedly aiming an AK-47 rifle during a student protest in Siwan went viral. The constable, posted with the District Intelligence Unit, faces departmental proceedings. Siwan SP Puran Kumar Jha said an inquiry has been launched to determine the circumstances under which the rifle was used. Bihar LoP Tejashwi Yadav shared the video, alleged targeted firing at students and demanded a judicial inquiry. Congress leaders also questioned the alleged use of firearms against protesters.
