After UP, crackdown on illegal slaughterhouses reaches Uttarakhand

After Uttar Pradesh, the crackdown on illegal slaughterhouses has reached Uttarakhand now. The state police raided and shutdown the slaughterhouses, who were operating without licenses in Haridwar. Residents of the area supported the adminstration’s move. A number of illegal slaughterhouses have been shut across Uttar Pradesh that has stirred protests by meat traders in the past few days.
