YES Bank partners with Hero Women's Indian Open 2014
YES Bank, India's fourth largest private sector bank, successfully partnered with the Women's Golf Association of India for the eighth edition of 'Hero Women's Indian Open 2014'.

Gwladys finished with an 11 under par total of 208 at the Delhi Golf Course with rounds of 64, 72 and 72, five strokes clear of three other players. England’s Hannah Burke, Fabienne In-Albon from Switzerland and Korean Hyeon Seo Kang tied for second on six under, while India’s Vaishavi Sinha double bogeyed the 18th to drop into solo fifth place.
Speaking about the association, Rana Kapoor, managing director & CEO, YES Bank, said, "This was truly a remarkable tournament and I am pleased to see the Indians notching up performances at par to their international counterparts. We still have some way to go, but it is our endeavor to support Indian Women golfers in their surge to global supremacy and encourage women participation in the sport. We are fully committed to the development of the sport in our associations with apex golf bodies like Women's Golf Association of India and Indian Golf Union."
This tie-up is the latest in YES Banks' initiatives to promote the sport in India. With an aim to promote Golf among youngsters, YES Bank endeavoured to support the national junior circuit of the Indian Golf Union with the IGU-YES BANK All India Juniors 2014. The championship, comprising of 11 tournaments including 4-zonals (North, South, East and South) and a final, witnessed over 250 junior golfers from across the country competing for the top position.
