WPL schedule 2026: Check date, venues and full match list here

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) returns for its 2026 season on Friday, January 9, with a blockbuster opening match between defending champions Mumbai Indians and former winners Royal Challengers Bengaluru. With Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz also in contention, the stage is set for another fiercely competitive edition.

WPL 2026 format
The tournament will continue with the familiar double round-robin format, with each of the five teams playing one another twice in the league stage. Following the league phase, the top three teams will qualify for the playoffs. The table-toppers will earn a direct berth in the final, while the teams finishing second and third will clash in the Eliminator to decide the other finalist.
