The third edition of the Women's Premier League will commence from February 14, BCCI announced on Thursday.

The season will have a total of 22 matches across four cities -- Baroda, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai. The season will kick off at the newly built BCA Stadium in Baroda, which will host the first 6 matches. The tournament will then move to Bengaluru, followed by Lucknow, which will also make its WPL venue debut this season.

The final leg of the league will then be hosted in Mumbai, which will also include Eliminator and Final on March 13 and 15 respectively at the Brabourne Stadium.

The table-toppers will earn a direct berth in the final, but the second and third-placed teams will clash for the eliminator on 13 March. All matches in the third edition will be single-headers, informed BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia.
