A dominant New Zealand bowled out former champions and fellow co-hosts Australia for a paltry 151 in 32.2 overs in their key World Cup Pool A game.

Trent Boult finished with a career best five for 27 while Tim Southee (two for 65) and Daniel Vettori (two for 41) also took wickets as Australia collapsed from 80 for one in the 13th over to lose their last nine wickets for 71 runs after they won the toss and batted.
Brad Haddin top-scored with 43 while David Warner made 34 in Australia's second-lowest total in all World Cups behind the 129 they made against India at Chelmsford in the 1983 edition in England.
