SEHORE: As the ICC World Cup fever grips the entire nation ahead of Sunday's India-Pakistan clash, a cricket enthusiast here created a small gold replica of the trophy.

The 23-carat gold trophy weighs 510 milligramme and is one of the smallest replicas of cricket world's most prestigious cup for which 14 nations will be battling it out to win it.

A local jeweller Nitin Soni (35), who has craved the replica said he saw a small replica of the trophy on internet that prompted him to make one himself.

"After watching a one cm long trophy on internet, I decided to create one for cricket lovers here. And I have successfully made it in 3-4 days time," Soni told PTI today.

Soni said the replica has cost him just Rs 2,000.
