Will Jos Buttler open for GT against PBKS? Skipper Shubman Gill reveals English batter’s where he may feature in playing XI

Speaking to mediapersons on Monday, Gill highlighted Buttler’s track record in both international and IPL cricket.
"Firstly, we have all seen what he has done in T20 cricket for England and in IPL. I think in the previous series he batted at number 3, so I don't think there is any problem with him about batting at different numbers," Gill said.
While the team has not yet finalized Buttler’s position in the batting lineup, Gill remained confident that the English batter would adapt to any role.
"Having said that, we haven't decided at which number he will bat, maybe we will get to know about it tomorrow during the match, but over the course of I think 8-9 years that he has played IPL, he has played at different numbers and he has performed at different numbers, so I don't see that as a problem for us," he added.
Gujarat Titans boast a strong batting lineup featuring skipper Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, Sai Sudharsan, Mahipal Lomror, Rahul Tewatia, and Shahrukh Khan. Their squad also includes quality all-rounders like Rashid Khan and Washington Sundar, alongside experienced bowlers such as Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj, and Ishant Sharma, complemented by a host of talented youngsters.
While this depth presents a promising outlook for the team, it also brings the challenge of selecting the ideal playing XI.
