West Indies vs Bangladesh
West Indies take on Bangladesh in the second Test of the two-match Test series at Kingston, Jamaica on Saturday at 8:30 pm IST. The hosts will want to build on their dominant win in the first game.

West Indies won by a comprehensive margin of 201 runs in Antigua and ended a 30-month winless streak at home. They will now look to seal a much needed series win against a demoralised Bangladesh side.

The first Test exposed Bangladesh's batting as the team collapsed dramatically in both innings. West Indies pace tri led by Alzarri Joseph, Kemar Roach, and Shamar Joseph dismantled the visitors' lineup, exploiting technical vulnerabilities and mental pressure.

Justin Greaves' maiden Test century (115*) and other crucial partnerships provided the foundation for West Indies' performance.

The visitors go into the second Test with several problems. The batting lineup failed to put up a consistent fight with only 269 runs in reply to the West Indies' first innings of 450.

WI vs Ban pitch report

Sabina Park in Jamaica has hosted 55 Tests, with 22 victories favoring the teams bowling first, as opposed to 18 for those setting a target.

First-innings total average 317, while fourth-innings struggles are evident with a low average of 149, highlighting the difficulty of chasing on a deteriorating surface.

England's monumental 849 against the West Indies in 1930 remains the highest total, contrasting sharply with the lowest, 47 by the same hosts against England in 2004.

The few times it saw chases were worth remembering when the West Indies successfully executed the highest chase of 212 against Sri Lanka, while the tightest defense was by the West Indies when they were on the receiving end with 219 versus India.
