Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav, known for his versatile strokeplay, recently took on a new role as a camera person. He conducted impromptu interviews with cricket fans on the streets of Mumbai at Marine Drive, all while remaining incognito. Surprisingly, the fans had no clue that they were interacting with one of the star players of the Indian cricket team.

The Indian batter, disguised as a cameraman, hid his identity by donning a cap, sunglasses, and a full-sleeve shirt. He also covered his face with a face mask.

"I'm pretending to be a cameraman today. We're going to have some fun in the street and talk about cricket," Suryakumar remarked.

Sporting a mask, Suryakumar Yadav ventured out onto the streets to engage with fans. During this surprise trip, he even managed to surprise his teammate Ravindra Jadeja, who took a moment to recognize that he was conversing with none other than SKY (Suryakumar Yadav's nickname).

The 33-year-old hitter was seen portraying a new role in a recent video that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted on social media. Suryakumar stated that he and his squad would discuss cricket with the locals before leaving the team hotel.

A fan complimented Suryakumar and mentioned how nice it is to see him when they were interacting. Later on, the supporter said, "Hopefully, the batter will get to play at the Wankhede."

"Watching Suryakumar Yadav play is a delight. I'm always contemplating how he makes this and other shots whenever I see him play. There's a reason he's Mr. 360. "I'm excited to watch him perform, and I hope he gets to play at the Wankhede," the fan remarked.

Ultimately, Suryakumar showed his identity by taking off his face mask. The athlete then took pictures with the supporters.

The incident took place in Mumbai, where the Indian cricket team is currently stationed for their seventh match of the ongoing World Cup against Sri Lanka. With an unbeaten streak of six victories, India sits at the top of the table with 12 points. Their impressive performance virtually guarantees their spot in the semi-finals.
