Picking on the memes that went around, featuring Mohammed Siraj's iconic lines from the T20 World Cup win, Pant shared heartfelt appreciation for his teammates on his Instagram story.
"I only believe in Jassi bhai, because he is a gamechanger," Siraj had said in a post-victory interaction in the USA in June, when Bumrah had turned the game around for team India. This, later, became a part of memes and appreciation posts across social media.
The match against Australia saw standout performances from India's stars, with Bumrah and Siraj delivering under pressure, KL Rahul anchoring the innings, and Virat Kohli showcasing his trademark brilliance. India defeated Australia by 295 runs in Perth, taking a 1-0 lead in the five-match Test series.
Pant acknowledged the game-changing performances of key players, fondly referring to them as "Jassi Bhai," "Miyan," "Rana," "KL Bhai," "YJ," and "Virat Bhai."
"We also only believe on Jassi Bhai, Miyan, Rana, KL Bhai, YJ, and Virat Bhai... Because game changer players they are," read Pant's story.

While "Jassi Bhai" points to Jasprit Bumrah for his exceptional bowling and "Miyan" refers to Mohammed Siraj, Pant also gave a shout-out for KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and young guns Yashasvi Jaiswal and Harshit Rana.
The win occurred on day four of the match at Perth Stadium. Australia, chasing a target of 534 runs, was bowled out for 238. Travis Head top-scored for Australia with 89 runs, while Mitchell Marsh contributed 47. For India, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj each took three wickets.
India's captain, Bumrah, played a key role in the win, taking a total of eight wickets in the match, including a crucial spell of 5-30 in Australia's first innings. Centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli in India’s second innings also contributed significantly to the victory.
