Ghosh showcased stunning reflexes and athleticism when she was standing up to the stumps to leg-spinner Asha Sobhana. The 21-year-old dived to her right and extended her right hand in a fraction of a second to pull off a one-handed blinder.
The incident took place on the final ball of the 14th over when a dangerous-looking Sana attempted a slog-sweep off an Sobhana's full and tossed-up delivery. The ball spun and bounced away from the batter, taking the outside-edge. It look as if it was going further away, but Ghosh put her right hand out and the ball just stuck into her glove, leaving batter Fatima and commentators in a sense of shock.
Ghosh had a poor outing as a keeper against New Zealand in the tournament opener where she had dropped a sitter. on Sunday, she redeemed herself with the miraculous catch and was also involved in a stumping of opener Muneeba Ali.
