Watch how Bhuvi, Klaasen stump out Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan

How many times have you seen a pacer getting a batsman stumped? In their clash with the Punjab Kings, the Sunrisers Hyderabad created this rare moment.

Veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar along with wicket-keeper Henrich Klaasen managed to get the destructive batsman Shikhar Dhawan stumped in the 5th over.

After Bhuvi, as he is popularly called, bowled a 140 kmph, Heinrich Klaasen's quick reflexes led to brilliant piece of stumping last night, leaving the crowd at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in complete awe.


It was the third delivery of the 5th over and Bhuvi bowls a good length ball which is pitching on middle stump and angling away. Shikhar Dhawan steps down and misses the cover drive, while stalwart Klaasen, just behind the stumps, collects it well and takes the bails off in a jiffy.

While this a legal way of getting out, it is one of the unusual ones. Earlier, something like this was experienced in the 2016 U19 world cup when Rishabh Pant was stumped off Alzarri Joseph, who plays for the West Indies.

Pat Cummins-led SRH clinched a tense 2-run victory over PBKS, securing two more points to strengthen its position at the 5th spot.
