Pakistan's star batter Babar Azam continued to struggle in Test cricket during the second Test against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi, recording modest scores of 31 and 11 in his two innings. This added to Pakistan's difficulties on a challenging fourth-day pitch against a determined Bangladesh attack.

Pakistan posted 274 runs in their first innings, putting themselves in a strong position after reducing Bangladesh to 26/6.
