Watch: A run-out miss which can cost Bangladesh the Test match against Team India

NEW DELHI: It was for the first time that Bangladesh's cricket team came to play a test match in India after it was awarded the status of a Test-playing nation. Bangladesh has improved and become a much better side when it comes to the shorter formats of the game.

But when it comes to the Test matches, it seems that the Bangla Tigers need a lot more effort to compete in the international arena.

Bangladesh had a dream start against India in the one-off Test match at Hyderabad. Bangla pacer Taskin Ahmed gave India an early blow as he dismissed India's opener K.L. Rahul for a paltry two runs.

The tigers could have given another bloody blow to Team India had it not been for a sloppy fielding by the Bangladeshi fielders.

The incident took place during the 18th over when Mehedi Hasan missed one of the easiest run-out chances that he could ask for.

Murali Vijay just scored 35 runs from 51 balls when Bangladesh missed the run-out chance.

After this miss, Vijay did not give Bangladesh players any chance and went on to score his 9th Test ton. He was ultimately dismissed by left-arm orthodox spinner Taijul Islam when he had already scored 108 runs from 160 deliveries.
