In a matter of seconds, Kohli is seen spraying perfume, applying lotion to his hands, taking a quick bite, pulling on his gloves, and walking out to the middle without hesitation — a snapshot of his calm efficiency under pressure.



Having competed against Kohli and also shared a dressing room with him at Royal Challengers Bengaluru, New Zealand all-rounder Kyle Jamieson admitted that the Indian batter continues to operate on a different plane altogether.

Jamieson acknowledged that it is difficult to say whether Kohli is currently at his absolute peak, but maintained that his level of batting remains extraordinary, regardless of the phase of his career.
