Valdes in Bust-up with Van Gaal, to be Sold
Victor Valdes has hit back at Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal after the Dutchman launched a scathing attack on the goalkeeper

Van Gaal has put Valdes up for sale after insisting that he does not fit the "philosophy" that he has implemented at United. His reasoning behind the decision was that Valdes apparently refused to play for the Under-21 side when he was playing second fiddle to David De Gea.
"He doesn't follow our philosophy. There is no place for someone like that," said the manager."The philosophy is how you play football, and how you maintain your match rhythm.
"For example, he refused last (season) to play in the second team. That's also one aspect of our philosophy but there are a lot of other aspects in the philosophy of how you have to play like a goalkeeper in Manchester United."
Asked directly if he was selling the player, the manager replied: "Yes.For us it is a big disappointment because we thought he would follow our philosophy."
