WPL 2025 Prize Money: How much will Delhi Capitals or Mumbai Indians receive if they win the title?

Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians will play the final Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.

DC, led by Australian legend Meg Lanning, reached the final directly, having won five out of eight matches and finishing on the top of the table. This is their third consecutive final and will be looking to lift their first WPL title as they fell short in both 2023 and 2024.

The Harmanpreer Kaur-led MI, finished second in the league stage with 10 points. Even though they were tied with Delhi, Mumbai had a lower Net Run Rate. They defeated Gujarat Giants comfortably in the Eliminator match to play their second WPL final. They were the inaugural champions of the tournament.

WPL 2025 Prize Money

The prize money for this season of WPL has not been officially announced by the BCCI. However, last year, the winning team received Rs 6 crore and the runner-up got Rs 3 crore.

Most runs in WPL 2025

MI's Natalie Sciver-Brunt tops the chart for most runs. She has scored 493 runs in 9 matches, including five half-centuries. Her runs have come at an impressive average of 70 and a strike rate of 156. Royal Challengers Bengaluru's Ellyse Perry is second on the list with 372 runs in 8 matches. MI's Hayley Matthews has scored 304 runs in 9 matches.

Most wickets in WPL 2025

Healey Mathews has been an invaluable all-rounder for MI as she also tops the list of highest wicket takers in the season with 17 scalps in 9 matches. Her teammate Amelia Kerr has 16 wickets in 9 matches. She is also the only bowler to get a five-wicket haul this season. RCB's Georgia Wareham is third with 12 wickets in 8 matches.
