Pakistan win by 10 wickets, beat India for the 1st time in World Cup

Captain Virat Kohli and the young prospect Rishabh Pant got the wheels rolling for the side, but Pant fell soon after having made 39 runs in 30 balls.
India started off their ICC T20 World Cup campaign with a huge loss against arch rival Pakistan in a high-octane encounter on Sunday, who won the faceoff with no wickets lost, making 152 runs with 13 balls left.

In the first three overs of the first innings, India lost two big wickets in KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma with Pakistani bowler Shaheen Afridi taking out both the batsmen, giving Pakistan the ideal start. Soon after, the bowling side took Suryakumar Yadav's wicket in the 6th over.

In the 18th over, as the captain hit a half century, Jadeja's wicket fell. Indian opener Sharma had departed on a duck at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India and Pakistan's first game of the tournament began with the latter choosing to bowl first.
